LIFE MOVING TOO FAST?
Time to go Slow for a Mo' at the Randwick Sustainability Hub

When it becomes more than just a walk in the park…

This Go Slow for a Mo’ Nature Wellness Trail has been designed to help you slow down, relax and connect with the natural delights found throughout Randwick’s Sustainability Hub. Along the trail there are eight Rejuvenation Stations including a nature names game that guide you through a series of short sensory activities.

The trail has been designed so you can experience the full range of what the Sustainability Hub has to offer. Starting with the Cottage Garden near the car park, you’ll stroll through the Forest Foods and Permiculture Gardens before taking time to pause on the viewing platform overlooking the Eastern Banksia Scrub, home to some of the highest diversity of small birds in Sydney.

Learn more about the local native animals and listen out for the range of birds that call the Sustainability Hub home before finishing the trail at the wetland platform. Here you are invited to introduce yourself in Dharawal, the language of the traditional custodians of this land.

Getting there

The trail starts at the Cottage Garden near the carpark entrance at 27 Munda Street, Randwick.

The Randwick Community Centre and Sustainability Hub has a reputation as a leader in environmental and community activities and events. The Centre is located next to the picturesque Environment Park and adjacent to a children’s playground.
